The last remaining player from the Pat Baldwin Sr. era has been dismissed from the Milwaukee Panther Men's Basketball program. It is assumed that Browning did something (3rd strike?) that was an egregious violation of team rules, but nothing is being reported yet. Rumors of a "basketball punting" incident during a recent team practice have circulated, but getting kicked off scholarship for that action alone seems a bit excessive.
Browning was an incredible defender and a true athlete for the Panthers. He was an instrumental piece of the puzzle that brought us the Great Turnaround of last season. It is sad to see a Panther career come to an end like this with so many games left in the season yet and so many questions unanswered. We all hope that MB gets a new, great opportunity somewhere else soon, and gets his degree.
Friday afternoon versus Chattanooga looms large- how will the team react to this abrupt departure?
